If our Lithium Ion Battery Recycling Kit 2.5 gal isn't the right size for your needs, we offer the Lithium Ion Battery 5 gal Kit and the Lithium Ion Battery 1 gal Kit.
Lithium Ion batteries cannot be disposed of in your trash can. Although the back of a trash truck is usually wetter and less likely to feed the sparks from these batteries and start a fire-they are still considered a toxic material known as household hazardous waste. They pose numerous health and environmental hazards. When you discard them, they must be disposed of at a household hazardous waste collection point NOT placed in the trash.
EPA recommends that consumers take advantage of available local options for recycling lithium ion batteries and all other household hazardous wastes, rather than disposing of them in regular household trash.
All of our recycling kits come with instructions, packing materials, and a prepaid return shipping label, making it simple to return your materials to one of our recycling centers.
